Purpose of Research
○This study aims to conceptualize a “community-led elderly care system in rural areas” and present strategies for its establishment in response to the rapid demographic transition toward a super-aged society and the limitations of existing public elderly care services in rural Korea. While the current system of public long-term care plays a significant role, a substantial portion of elderly care needs—particularly those related to daily living support—remain unmet in rural regions.
